Why we started JadeiteHub

Most jadeite is mined in Myanmar, but most of it is cut, carved and sold in China. Prices in China's trade hubs are often far lower than what buyers abroad pay for the same quality, because every middleman along the way adds a margin.

Buyers abroad also find it hard to tell natural Type A jadeite from treated jade, and many end up buying from livestreams or shops they cannot check. JadeiteHub lets them buy from China's jadeite market directly, in their own language, with inspection and insured shipping handled for them.

Where our jadeite comes from

Our company is based in Ruili, the jade-trading town on China's border with Myanmar. Most of our pieces come from the large jadeite workshops in Guangdong province, such as Pingzhou, known for bangles, and Jieyang, known for fine pendants.

We list pieces only from sellers we have vetted, and the photos and videos on each listing show the actual piece, not a sample.

How every piece is checked

• Type A only: natural jadeite that has only been cut and polished, with no bleaching, polymer filling or dyeing.
• Before shipping, every sold piece goes to our inspection center and is checked against its listing and its certificate.
• Each piece ships with its own certificate from an accredited national testing lab in China.
• Shipping is tracked and fully insured.
• You can return a piece within 7 days of delivery if it comes back unworn with its certificate and packaging.
• You pay through our licensed payment partner, never to a seller directly.

What we don't sell

• Rough jade or "gamble stones". This part of the trade has a high rate of scams, so we stay out of it.
• Type B (bleached and polymer-filled) or Type C (dyed) jadeite.
• Other stones sold as "jade". JadeiteHub sells jadeite only.

Who we serve

We sell to individual buyers worldwide, and our site is available in 10 languages. Jewelry, gift and amulet stores can also apply for wholesale access to buy certified jadeite in volume.
