Type A Jadeite Gourd Pendant, Icy Floating Green, 18K Gold

A natural Type A jadeite gourd (hulu) pendant in icy texture with floating green, set in 18K white gold. Overall size 25.3 × 14.1 × 4.7 mm.

The stone is clear and watery with a soft blue-green body tone and gentle green drifting inside. The gourd is left smooth and uncarved, so its two rounded bulbs look full and soft. The bail is shaped like a small bow, a light, playful touch. In Chinese, hulu sounds like "fu lu", fortune and prosperity, which makes the gourd one of the most loved good-luck motifs.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this piece may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual piece.

The overall size including the bail is 25.3 × 14.1 × 4.7 mm; the jadeite itself measures 18.6 × 14.1 × 4.7 mm. It is a petite, easy-to-wear size and a lovely gift. The chain in the photos is for display only and is not included.

Every piece is inspected at our center and checked against its certificate before it ships, with free insured shipping.
