A pair of natural Type A jadeite peapod earrings in high icy texture, set in 18K white gold. Size 27.5 × 6.5 × 5 mm.
The jadeite is clear, fine and clean, with a strong soft-white glow when light passes through, the look Chinese buyers call "white moonlight". Each peapod holds three full, rounded beans, and the two earrings are closely matched in size and texture. Each pod hangs from an 18K white gold hook, fresh and light on the ear. The peapod (fu dou) is a traditional symbol of blessings arriving and a full, happy family.
Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), these pieces may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton. Please judge them from the photos and video, which show the actual pair.
