Type A High-Icy Jadeite Necklace, Imperial Green Gourd, 18K

A natural Type A jadeite cabochon necklace: a colorless high-icy oval cabochon with a small imperial green gourd, set in 18K white gold. Cabochon about 11.6 × 9.9 × 4.3 mm.

High-icy jadeite is finer and clearer than icy: it is very transparent, with only a faint mist, and shows a bright, rolling glow under light. The oval cabochon is clean and clear, with a lively glow that moves across the dome. One side of the necklace carries a small, intensely green imperial green gourd. The gourd (葫芦, hulu) sounds like 福禄, blessing and prosperity, and is a popular lucky motif.

The whole necklace, including the chain, is 18K white gold, and the back of the cabochon is open to let the light in. An elegant piece for special occasions or as a gift.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this necklace may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual necklace.
