Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pendant, Icy Blue Flower, 35mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendant in icy texture, a clear base with blue-green floating flowers. About 35 mm across and 5.9 mm thick.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Good texture and very translucent, with several strands of blue-green flower drifting through the clear base like water plants in a clear stream. At 35 mm it is a large, generous disc.

A safety coin (平安扣, ping an kou) is a round disc with a center hole. Its name means "peace and safety", and it is a traditional design worn by women, men and children alike.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
