Type A Jadeite Plain Tablet Pendant, Lavender, Gold Bail

A natural Type A jadeite plain tablet pendant (无事牌) in lavender, with a gold bail, about 22.4 × 14.3 × 6.9 mm.

Glutinous jadeite is fine-grained and softly translucent, with a gentle, moist look like cooked sticky rice. This piece is clean and flawless, an even, soft lavender throughout, cut as a slim tablet with crisp beveled edges, simple and refined.

A wu shi pai (无事牌) is a tablet left uncarved; the name means "nothing amiss", a wish for a peaceful life, and with no carving the stone itself has to be good. Chun se (春色) is the trade name for lavender jadeite, a soft color that flatters most skin tones. The gold bail is ready to hang on a chain.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
