A natural Type A jadeite teardrop pendant in lavender, set in real gold. The stone measures about 21.7 × 15.3 × 6 mm.
Glutinous jadeite is fine-grained and softly translucent, with a gentle, moist look like cooked sticky rice. This piece is clean and fresh: a full, rounded teardrop cabochon in an even, soft lavender with a gentle luster.
The teardrop is a classic jadeite pendant shape, with soft lines that suit any age or occasion. Chun se (春色) is the trade name for lavender jadeite, a soft color that flatters most skin tones.
Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
