Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pair, Icy Clear, 24mm

A pair (two pieces) of natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendants in icy texture, clear and nearly colorless. One is about 24.4 mm across and 5.4 mm thick, the other about 24.7 mm and 5.7 mm.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Both coins are clear and bright with a full glow and a faint touch of green at the edge, well matched in size and color.

A safety coin (平安扣, ping an kou) is a round disc with a center hole whose name means "peace and safety". A matched pair suits a couple, a mother and daughter or two children, one each, or can be made into earrings. The price is for both coins.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pair of pendants may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pair of pendants.
