Type A Jadeite Slim Plaque Pendant, Bright Green, Gold Set

A natural Type A jadeite wu shi pai (无事牌) plaque pendant in icy-glutinous texture, an even bright green, in a slim small plaque, set in real gold. It measures about 23.7 × 8.7 × 5.3 mm.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. Moist and flawless: the slim little plaque is an even, fresh bright green all over, small and refined, and shows its color well in everyday wear. It is set in real gold and ready to hang on a chain.

A slim little plaque like this is light and goes with anything, worn alone or layered with other pendants. In jadeite a plain plaque is called wu shi (无事), "nothing amiss", a wish for safe, uneventful days, which makes it an easy gift for family or friends.

Every natural jadeite has its own texture; look closely and you may find a tiny cotton spot or a stone line. Phone screens can make the green of this plaque look brighter or darker than it is; the video in natural light is the best guide. The gold setting reflects light, so photos can look a little brighter than the piece. Screens show color differently, so it helps to check the video as well.

Before shipping, we check this 23.7 mm plaque point by point against its certificate at our inspection center. Once confirmed, it goes out free by insured, tracked post. Any import duties are paid on delivery.
