Type A Jadeite Round Bangle, Pink Lavender & Yellow, 57mm

A natural Type A jadeite round bangle in icy-glutinous texture, a pink-lavender base with one section of honey-yellow jadeite. Inner diameter 57 mm, width 11 mm, thickness 11.3 mm.

Fine and distinctive. Most of the ring is a soft pink-violet (fen chun), like the palest band of a sunset, and one stretch turns a warm honey yellow. The two colors meet in a clear line, cool against warm, a strong contrast that still looks natural. The material is fine with a good luster, and the lavender parts carry a faint hint of blue-green.

An 11 mm by 11.3 mm round bar is thick and sturdy, full and weighty on the wrist, and a 57 mm size suits women with medium to larger hands. Rough with both lavender and yellow in one bangle is not common; the trade calls it 春带彩, "spring with color", and yellow is also seen as a color of wealth.

The yellow comes from natural iron, so the edges of the yellow patch show natural gradients and fine lines up close, which is normal. Pink-lavender is sensitive to light, pinker under warm light and bluer under white light; please go by the video. The red thread only marks the size; the photos and video are of this bangle.
