Type A Jadeite Ping'an Bangle, Ink-Wash Flower, 58mm

A natural Type A jadeite ping'an bangle in icy-glutinous texture, a pale base with dark blue-green floating flowers. Inner size 58 mm.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. The dark flowers range from deep to light, some in patches and some in fine wisps, like ink spreading on rice paper in a Chinese ink-wash painting.

A ping'an (平安, peace) bangle is a flat-inner bangle: flat inside and rounded outside, so it lies comfortably against the wrist for everyday wear. The 58 mm inner size suits medium to larger wrists.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this bangle may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual bangle.
