Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pendant, Icy Flower, Gold Bail

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendant in icy texture, a clear blue-green base with dark green floating flowers, with a gold bail. About 35.5 mm across and 6.1 mm thick.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Clear and flawless: threads of dark green flower drift across half of a pale blue-green, icy base, richly layered. The gold bail passes through the center hole and is ready to hang on a chain.

A safety coin (平安扣, ping an kou) is a round disc with a center hole. Its name means "peace and safety", and it is a traditional design worn by women, men and children alike.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
