Type A Jadeite Seal Pendant, Lavender with Green Top, 28mm

A natural Type A jadeite seal pendant (印章) in lavender, about 27.6 × 13.4 × 10.8 mm.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. A beautiful, moist and flawless piece: the square body is an even, soft lavender, and the top is carved as a small beast knob that falls on a band of pale green, lavender and green set off against each other.

In ancient China a seal was proof of identity and trust, so a seal pendant stands for keeping one's word and taking responsibility. This square seal is solid and substantial, suits women or men, and can be worn on a cord. Chun se (春色) is the trade name for lavender jadeite.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
