Type A Jadeite Laughing Buddha Pendant, Icy Blue-Green Belly

A natural Type A jadeite laughing Buddha pendant in icy texture, an icy white body with a pool of blue-green (lan qing) in the belly, on a gold bail. About 30.6 × 33.3 × 6 mm.

A beautiful base color and good texture. The head and arms are clear icy white, and at the belly the color suddenly opens into a clear blue-green, like the deepest water in the middle of a lake; when light passes through, the whole belly lights up. A white body with a blue-green belly like this is a lucky find, and the carver put the best color exactly where the eye goes first.

The smiling seated Buddha with his big, forgiving belly stands for an easy heart and gathered blessings, and he is the most popular pendant subject. At 33.3 mm tall and 6 mm thick the belly has a full, three-dimensional curve and real presence on the chest, for women or men.

Blue-green qing shui shifts between blue and green as the light changes; natural daylight is closest to the real piece, so please go by the video. Icy jadeite is bright and clear, and up close there is a little fine cotton inside, a natural feature. All photos and the video are of this figure.

Once ordered, this 33.3 mm Buddha is checked against its certificate at our inspection center and shipped free, insured and tracked. Not happy within 7 days of delivery? Return it unworn.
