A natural Type A jadeite cabochon, sold loose, in icy texture, blue-green qing shui. About 14.2 × 14.3 × 4.3 mm.

Good texture and good form. This large, nearly round cabochon is a rich blue-green qing shui throughout, deep yet clear, like the deepest patch of tropical sea. The dome is high and the outline round and even; when light enters, the whole stone brightens, with the color lightening slightly from center to edge.

The brass ring mount and accent stones in the photos are a temporary display mount (brass, not precious metal); they ship with the jade, so you can wear it straight away or have a jeweler reset it in 18K gold. A 14 mm round cabochon makes a ring with real presence for anyone who loves a big stone, or it can become a pendant; a local jeweler can design it to your taste.

Blue-green qing shui looks bluer on cloudy days and indoors and greener in sunshine, and its depth shifts with the background; please go by the video. Icy jadeite is very transparent and may hold very fine natural texture. The photos and video are of this stone.
