Type A Jadeite Lucky Bean Pod Pendant, Icy, 18K White Gold

A natural Type A jadeite lucky bean pod (福豆) pendant in icy texture, icy white, three beans, set in 18K white gold, stone about 24.1 × 13.2 × 4.8 mm.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. The seller said "great texture, perfect". Three beans sit in the pod, each larger than the one above it, all plump and clear like three frozen bubbles, with neatly polished grooves between them. The stone has the slightest blue tone, and with light behind it the whole pod gives off a cool glow. The 18K white gold mount runs two rows of small white stones along the pod and ends in a string of little stone-set flowers as the bail.

The bean pod sounds like "fortune arrives" in Chinese, and three beans wish top marks three times over, a fitting gift for students facing exams or friends who have just been promoted, and a common blessing for newlyweds and new parents. At 24.1 mm plus the border it has presence on the chest, and icy white goes with everything, formal or casual.

Fine stone lines and cotton are growth marks of natural jadeite, and completely clean material is rare; please judge this 24.1 mm icy bean pod by the real photos. The gold setting reflects light, so photos can look slightly brighter than the piece.

You can reserve this 24.1 mm icy bean pod for free first; the seller confirms stock and holds it for 24 hours while you pay. It is checked against its certificate before shipping and travels fully insured, with free shipping.
