Type A Jadeite Round Bangle, Glutinous Yellow & Green, 51mm

A natural Type A jadeite round bangle (fu bangle, 福镯) in glutinous texture, yellow jadeite with green (黄加绿). Inner size 51 mm.

Glutinous jadeite is fine-grained and softly translucent, with a gentle, moist look like cooked sticky rice. Moist and distinctive: half of the bangle is a warm yellow jadeite tone, the other half a pale base with a few touches of bright green, the two colors shading naturally into each other. The bar is slim and dainty.

A fu bangle (福镯) is a round bangle, round both inside and out, the most traditional shape. This one has bar 7.7 mm wide and 8 mm thick; the 51 mm inner size suits slimmer wrists.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this bangle may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual bangle.
