Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pendant, Green Flower, 31.5mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendant in glutinous texture, a pale base with soft green floating flowers. About 31.5 mm across and 5.5 mm thick.

Glutinous jadeite is fine-grained and softly translucent, with a gentle, moist look like cooked sticky rice. Moist and fresh, a pale base with a few faint wisps of soft green, appearing and fading, fresh and easy on the eye.

A safety coin (平安扣, ping an kou) is a round disc with a center hole. Its name means "peace and safety", and it is a traditional design worn by women, men and children alike. It comes on a braided cord.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.

Every piece is inspected at our center and checked against its certificate before it ships, with free insured shipping.
