Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pendant, Icy Green Flower, 17mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendant in icy texture, with bright green flowers over most of the face and a gold bail. About 17.3 mm across and 4.7 mm thick.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Clean and flawless: clouds of vivid bright green flower cover most of the coin, rich yet translucent, a lot of color in a small piece. The gold bail passes through the center hole and is ready to hang on a chain.

A safety coin (平安扣, ping an kou) is a round disc with a center hole. Its name means "peace and safety", and it is a traditional design worn by women, men and children alike. At 17.3 mm it is small and dainty, good for everyday wear or for a child.

As a natural mineral, jadeite nearly always carries some growth marks such as cotton or stone lines; they do not affect wear. The flowers in this 17.3 mm safety coin sit where nature put them; no other piece has quite the same pattern. Please judge it from the photos and video of the actual piece.

This 17.3 mm safety coin has to pass our inspection center first and ships only when it agrees with its certificate. Once confirmed, it goes out free by insured, tracked post. Within 7 days of delivery you can return it unworn with its certificate and packaging.
