Type A Jadeite Flat Bangle, Yellow & Green Flower, 59.5mm

A natural Type A jadeite flat bangle in icy-glutinous texture, a milky white body with one patch of yellow and a few strokes of floating green. Large size: inner diameter 59.5 mm, width 12.6 mm, thickness 9.3 mm.

Juicy and distinctive. Most of the bangle is a clean milky white; at the top sits a patch of orange-yellow jadeite like a setting sun, full in color with edges that fade naturally, and on the opposite side a few wisps of deep green drift like brushstrokes of ink trailing through water. White, yellow and green stay apart yet echo one another, so turning it on the wrist shows three different moods.

59.5 mm is a large size, suited to women with broader hands, and some men choose it too. A flat-style bangle (zheng zhuang, or ping an bangle) is flat inside and rounded outside; a 12.6 mm band is well proportioned at this size and sits comfortably without pressing.

The yellow patch shows a fine granular texture and the green flowers have natural color roots at their edges, both signs of genuine material.
