Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. The seller said simply "beautiful color": more than half the ring is a bright lavender with lighter and deeper purple woven through it, like a field of lavender in bloom; the other side fades to white with a purple glow, and near the bottom a short stretch of grey-green adds depth. In daylight the purple stays clear rather than greyish.
