Type A Jadeite Round Bangle, Light Green, Yang Green, 52.8mm

A natural Type A jadeite round bangle (福镯), icy-glutinous, a light green body with yang green, inner diameter 52.8 mm, band 10.4 mm wide and 10.2 mm thick.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. The seller said "juicy and fresh". The bangle is a soft light green all round with plenty of water and a moist look; right at the top sits a rich patch of yang green with softly blurred edges, like a leaf pressed onto the ring, and a few wisps of pale green drift along both sides of the lower half, so the color runs deeper above and lighter below in a natural way.

A 福镯 is round inside and out; at 10.4 × 10.2 mm this round band is even and full with real weight, the traditional style that wishes for complete good fortune. 52.8 mm is on the small side, suited to women with slender hand bones; the round band sits snugly, and turning the yang green toward the back of the hand shows it best.

Natural jadeite shifts a little with the light, warmer indoors and fresher in daylight. Every photo and video of this 52.8 mm green-touched round bangle shows this exact piece, with no color editing.
