Type A Jadeite Wu Shi Pai Pendant, Pale Lavender, 18K Gold

A natural Type A jadeite wu shi pai pendant in icy texture with an even pale lavender color, set in 18K white gold. The jadeite measures 27.1 × 17.4 × 7.6 mm.

The stone is fine and translucent, with a soft lavender tone spread evenly through the whole piece and a gel-like glow that seems to come from inside when light passes through. A wu shi pai is left uncarved, so the full, rounded surface shows the texture and color exactly as they are. The tablet is protected by a white gold rim and claws, with an octagonal bail above. The name means "nothing wrong", a traditional wish for a calm and safe life.

At 7.6 mm thick this is a generously cut tablet with a satisfying weight in the hand. Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), it may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual piece.
