Type A Jadeite Melon Pendant, Icy Apple Green, 18K Gold

A natural Type A jadeite fortune-melon (福瓜) pendant in icy texture, a bright apple green, set in 18K white gold. Jade about 24.1 × 12.4 × 4.8 mm.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. The whole melon is a fresh, lively apple green that glows clear when light passes through. The rounded shape is held in an 18K white gold prong setting with a flower-shaped bail, and the back is open to let the light in.

A medium size with plenty of color that is never too much, for everyday wear or as a gift. The chain in the photos is for display only and is not included.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
