A natural Type A jadeite huaigu pendant (怀古) in fine glutinous texture, an even lavender (春色), with an 18K gold bail. Diameter 21.4 mm, thickness 10.7 mm.
Fine glutinous jadeite is the finer grade of glutinous: smooth, dense and softly translucent. The whole piece is one even, rich lavender, plump and rounded, with a sweet, gentle look.
A huaigu (怀古, "cherishing the old") is a traditional rounded disc with a small center hole, shaped like an old coin and fuller than a donut pendant. At 21.4 mm it is small and refined, and the 18K gold bail is ready to hang on a chain.
Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
