A natural Type A jadeite teardrop pendant in icy texture, an even pink lavender (粉春), set in real gold. The stone measures about 21.2 × 14.2 × 6.3 mm.
Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. The teardrop cabochon is full and smooth, an even, soft pinkish lavender with a bright, moist luster.
The gold setting is open at the back, so light comes through the stone and shows off its clarity and color. The teardrop shape is elegant for both everyday and dressier wear.
Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
