Type A Jadeite Pea Pod Pendant, Full Bright Green, Gold Set

A natural Type A jadeite pea pod pendant in icy-glutinous texture, full bright green (满色阳绿), set in real gold. The stone measures about 14.2 × 8 × 3.5 mm.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. The pod is full, with three plump peas, and the whole stone is an even, rich bright green with no break in color and a soft, moist luster.

The pea pod, called fu dou (福豆) in the trade, is a popular traditional jadeite subject; its name sounds like "fortune arrives" in Chinese. Small and refined, it is easy to wear every day.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
