A natural Type A jadeite freeform pendant in lavender, set in real gold. The stone measures about 27.2 × 14.4 × 6 mm.
Glutinous jadeite is fine-grained and softly translucent, with a gentle, moist look like cooked sticky rice. A beautiful color: a rich, even lavender, full-domed and long, tapering at both ends in a smooth, flowing line.
A freeform (随形) piece is polished to follow the natural shape of the stone rather than a set geometric outline, so each one is unique. Chun se (春色) is the trade name for lavender jadeite, a soft color that flatters most skin tones.
Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
