A natural Type A jadeite flat-inner bangle in icy-glutinous texture, lavender (紫罗兰) over almost the whole band, fading to pale white on one side. Inner size 54.5 mm.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. A beautiful color: a medium lavender covers almost the whole bangle, fading to a pale white section on one side, soft and bright in the light. The 13.6 mm band is wide enough to show the color well. Chun se (春色) and zi luo lan (紫罗兰) are the trade names for lavender jadeite.

This is the everyday flat-inner bangle: flat inside, rounded outside, comfortable for long wear. It is 13.6 mm wide and 9.5 mm thick, and the 54.5 mm inner size is a common size.

Fine stone lines and cotton are hallmarks of natural jadeite; completely clean material is very rare. The lavender of this 13.6 mm-wide bangle is sensitive to light: warmer light pulls it pink, daylight pulls it blue. Every photo and video on this page shows this exact piece.
