Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. A beautiful, moist color: the bangle is green from end to end, with clouds of vivid bright green running together over a light green base and almost no white showing, a wet, glowing green. Bangles with color all the way round like this are rare in jadeite, and the 12.2 mm band shows the green generously.

The classic flat-inner shape is flat on the inside and domed outside, so it sits against the wrist without pressing and stays out of the way when you type or work. Width 12.2 mm, thickness 9 mm; the 55.5 mm inner size is a common size.

Fine stone lines and cotton are hallmarks of natural jadeite; completely clean material is very rare. The flowers in this 12.2 mm-wide bangle sit where nature put them; no other piece has quite the same pattern. Before buying, go by the photos and video, all taken of this piece.
