Type A Jadeite Flat Bangle, Green Patches All Round, 51.4mm

A natural Type A jadeite flat bangle in glutinous texture, a pale green-white base with bright green patches all the way round. Inner diameter 51.4 mm, width 12.5 mm, thickness 7.7 mm.

Fresh and juicy. The color runs around the whole bangle: clouds of vivid green spread over a pale green-white base, some as deep as fresh leaves, some thinning to a mist, and it is hard to find a stretch with no color at all. The glutinous material is fine and soft-looking, polished to a bright luster, and as the bangle turns the green seems to move like something under water.

A flat-style bangle (zheng zhuang, also called a ping an bangle) has a flat inner face and a rounded outer face, so it sits comfortably against the wrist, and the 12.5 mm band has real presence. 51.4 mm is a smaller size, suited to women with slim hands; please measure around the widest part of your hand, or the inside of a bangle you already wear, before ordering.

A glutinous bangle with color all the way round is not common, and the pattern is set by the rough, so no two are alike. Up close you will find fine cotton and color roots, normal features of natural jadeite. The red thread in the photos only marks the size. All photos and the video are of this bangle.
