A natural Type A jadeite wu shi pai (无事牌, plain plaque) pendant in icy-glutinous texture, a full spicy green (辣绿), set in 18K white gold. The tapered stone, narrower at the top and wider below, measures about 30.5 × 17.2 × 1.8 mm.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. The whole face is a rich, saturated spicy green, even from top to bottom with no obvious white cotton or breaks in color. At only 1.8 mm thin, with an open back that shows a ring of green, the color seems to light up from inside when held to the light.

A tapered plaque is a less common take on the plain plaque, with crisp lines and a slightly modern feel that looks longer and slimmer than a rectangle. At 30.5 mm it hangs just below the collarbone, striking over a white shirt or plain knit, and makes a fine gift for a parent or elder.

Fine stone lines and cotton are growth marks of natural jadeite, and completely clean material is rare; please judge this 30.5 mm tapered plaque by the real photos. The gold setting reflects light, so photos can look slightly brighter than the piece.
