A pair of natural Type A jadeite safety coin (平安扣) stud earrings in icy texture, spicy green (辣绿), set in 18K white gold. Each coin is about 9.7 mm across and 1.5 mm thick.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Fine texture and color together: both little coins are an intense spicy green, icy and glowing, deep without looking heavy. A white-gold post through the center hole and three small claws at the edge hold them, so from the front you see almost nothing but the jadeite.
