Type A Jadeite Safety Coin, Icy Clear Blue-Green, 30.7mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin (平安扣) in icy texture, clear-water blue-green (晴水), about 30.7 mm across and 5.3 mm thick, supplied without a cord.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Clean and flawless: the whole coin is an even pale blue-green, like a lake on a clear day, icy and bright. Near the center there is a slightly deeper, cloud-like pattern, a natural growth texture that gives the piece depth.

"Qing shui" (晴水, clear water) is the trade's name for an even, pale, transparent blue-green body color that looks clean and cool. 30.7 mm is a classic coin size, for a cord or a gold bail, for women or men; the safety coin wishes the wearer safe travels, a natural gift for family.

Natural jadeite shifts a little with the light, warmer indoors and fresher in daylight. Every photo and video of this 30.7 mm clear-water coin shows this exact piece, with no color editing.

This 30.7 mm clear-water coin has its own certificate from an accredited national gem testing lab. Once inspection confirms the match it is packed and sent, shipping free and fully insured; any import tax is paid by the recipient.
