Type A Jadeite Safety Coin, Full Lavender, 35mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin (平安扣) in icy-glutinous texture, full lavender (紫罗兰, also called 春色 "spring color"), about 35 mm across and 6.2 mm thick, supplied without a cord.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. A lovely, refined color: the whole coin is an even pinkish lavender with no obvious white patches or other tones, fine-textured with a soft gel-like sheen that grows gentler the longer you look.

The trade calls purple jadeite "chun se", spring color. A full-lavender safety coin is rarer than a green one and especially loved by women. At 35 mm it is on the large side and has real presence on the chest, beautiful with a gold bail, a pearl strand or a simple silk cord.

Fine stone lines and cotton are growth marks of natural jadeite, and completely clean material is rare; please judge this 35 mm lavender coin by the real photos.
