Type A Jadeite Longevity Peach, Icy Qingshui Green, 18.1mm

A natural Type A jadeite longevity peach (寿桃) in icy texture, icy white with qingshui green floating through the lower half, about 18.1 × 17.6 × 10.4 mm, unset.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. In the seller's words, "good texture, fine form": the peach is round and plump, a full 10.4 mm thick, like a real little honey peach; the upper part is clear and nearly colorless, and a bright qingshui green spreads through the lower part, as if the fruit were turning from green to ripe, the transition entirely natural. A small peach tip is left at the top, keeping the design clean.

The longevity peach wishes good health and a long life; by tradition it is the ideal birthday gift for an elder, and it is also given to newborns as a wish to grow up safe and well. This one is a balanced size to wear on a cord or set in gold, suitable for daily wear or as a birthday present.

Fine stone lines and cotton are growth marks of natural jadeite, and completely clean material is rare; please judge this 18.1 mm icy peach by the real photos.
