Type A Jadeite Ruyi Pendant, Icy Light Green, 18K Gold Bail

A natural Type A jadeite ruyi pendant in icy texture with a soft, clear light green, finished with an 18K gold bail. Overall size 30 × 16.7 × 3.2 mm.

The icy body is clear, with a gentle light green through the whole piece and deeper green drifting in places, so it looks fresh and juicy against the light. The face is carved with flowing ruyi cloud scrolls in smooth, rounded lines. Above it sits a flower-shaped 18K yellow gold bail, a warm frame for the pale green. Ruyi means "as you wish", a traditional blessing for things to go smoothly, which makes it a much-loved good-luck motif.

The pendant is light and slim, so it sits comfortably for everyday wear and makes a lovely gift.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this piece may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual piece. The chain in the photos is for display only and is not included.

Every piece is inspected at our center and checked against its certificate before it ships, with free insured shipping.
