Type A Jadeite Gourd Pendant, Icy Yellow, 925 Silver, 22mm

A natural Type A jadeite gourd (hulu) pendant in an icy yellow, set in 925 sterling silver. Overall size 22.2 × 12.5 mm.

The yellow is bright and full, and the icy body gives it a clear, glowing luster, a warm, sunny color that flatters the skin. The smooth, rounded gourd hangs from a round bail, a neat look that goes with almost everything. In Chinese, hulu sounds like "fu lu", fortune and prosperity, and yellow is traditionally linked with wealth, which makes this a popular good-fortune piece.

The sterling silver setting keeps the price friendly, making it a great everyday piece, a first jadeite or a gift.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this piece may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual piece.

The overall size is 22.2 × 12.5 mm; the jadeite itself measures 12.3 × 10.8 mm. A petite, delicate size. The chain in the photos is for display only and is not included.
