Type A Jadeite Buddha Pendant, Icy Floating Flower, 18K Bail

A natural Type A jadeite seated Buddha pendant in icy texture, a clear base with blue-green floating flowers, with an 18K gold bail. About 21.3 × 23.2 × 5.1 mm.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. A wisp of blue-green floats across the Buddha's belly, lively and natural. The carving is full and rounded, with a broad smile and clean lines.

The seated Buddha is the smiling Maitreya (Laughing Buddha), one of the most classic jadeite pendant subjects, worn by women and men. At about 21–23 mm it is small and light, and the 18K gold bail is ready to hang on a chain.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
