Type A Jadeite Huaigu Disc Pendant, Pink Lavender, 18.2mm

A natural Type A jadeite huaigu (怀古) disc pendant in fine glutinous texture, an even pink lavender (粉春), about 18.2 mm across, on a black cord with a small jadeite bead.

Fine glutinous jadeite is the finer grade of glutinous: smooth, dense and softly translucent. The whole piece is an even pinkish lavender with a smooth, oily luster and a clean surface, a soft and gentle color.

A huaigu is a small round pendant with a center hole, similar to a safety-buckle (ping an kou) disc but slightly domed, for a full, rounded look. At about 18 mm it is small and sweet, worn at the neck on a cord or tied to a bag.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
