Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pendant, Icy Green Flower, 35mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendant in icy texture, a clear blue-green base with dark green floating flowers. About 35.4 mm across and 6.1 mm thick.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Clear and flawless: a pale blue-green, icy base with fine threads of dark green flower drifting along one side like water plants. At 35 mm it is a large, generous safety coin.

A safety coin (平安扣, ping an kou) is a round disc with a center hole. Its name means "peace and safety", and it is a traditional design worn by women, men and children alike.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
