Fine glutinous jadeite is the finer grade of glutinous: smooth, dense and softly translucent. Fine and unusual: on a pale blue-green base, a rich band of yellow jadeite (黄翡, huang fei) runs across the top, shading from deep honey to light yellow before melting into the base color, a natural meeting of two colors. Huang fei is the yellow to brownish-yellow part of jadeite, usually found near the skin of the rough, and a deep yellow like this is not common.

Style: round (fu bangle), round in cross-section and easy to wear with anything. Size: 10 mm wide and 10.6 mm thick, 56 mm inner, which is a common size.

Type A jadeite is never acid-bleached or polymer-filled, so its original cotton and stone lines stay as they are.
