A natural Type A jadeite round bangle (fu bangle, 福镯) in icy-glutinous texture, blue-green with a block of bright green on top. Inner size 52.2 mm.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. Moist and fresh: the base is a clear, pale blue-green, and right at the top sits a single rich block of bright green, almost square, like a green seal; small green dots are scattered over the rest. The 52.2 mm inner size is on the small side, for slimmer hands, and when worn the green block lands in the middle of the back of the wrist.

Rounded inside and out, a fu bangle looks full and feels soft on the wrist. 9.1 mm wide and 8.9 mm thick; at 52.2 mm the inner size suits slimmer wrists.

Type A jadeite is never acid-bleached or polymer-filled, so its original cotton and stone lines stay as they are.
