Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. Moist and fresh: a bright white base, with soft blue-green flowers floating along one half like a brushstroke of ink spreading on rice paper, and the other half clean. In warm light the white base can show a faint, gentle pinkish tone. The slim round bar, about 8 mm, suits anyone who likes a quiet, elegant look.

Rounded inside and out, a fu bangle looks full and feels soft on the wrist. A bar about 8 mm thick; at 52.7 mm the inner size suits slimmer wrists.

As a natural mineral, jadeite nearly always carries some growth marks such as cotton or stone lines; they do not affect wear.
