Type A Jadeite Flat Bangle, Yellow and Green, 56mm

A natural Type A jadeite flat bangle in icy-glutinous texture, a pale blue-green base with yellow jadeite and a few spots of bright green. Inner diameter 56 mm, width 12 mm, thickness 8.4 mm.

Fine and distinctive. The whole bangle has a soft blue-green base like a lake in early spring; on one side a stretch of earthy yellow spreads out, and right beside it sit a few clouds of vivid green, yellow next to green like rapeseed flowers beside young wheat. The material is fine with a gentle luster and an even, clean base color.

Yellow with green stands for 福禄双全, "fortune and prosperity together", a pairing that pleases as a gift for an elder or for yourself. 56 mm is a common medium size, and a 12 mm flat-style bangle (zheng zhuang, flat inside and rounded outside) looks generous and wears comfortably.

Both the yellow and the green formed naturally, so where they meet there are natural color roots and fine lines that you can see up close.
