A natural Type A jadeite safety coin (平安扣) in icy texture with snowflake cotton, 18.4 mm across and 3.9 mm thick, with a gold bail.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. The seller said "great texture, perfect". Inside the clear coin float small white tufts that the trade calls snowflake cotton (雪花棉), like flakes drifting in a glass snow globe, and they show more depth under a lamp. Snowflake cotton is a look some buyers choose on purpose in icy jadeite, a different taste from chasing completely clean material.

The gold bail is a small flower with a bright-green cabochon at its center, ringed by little white stones, and a gold bar drops into the center hole to hold the coin. At 18.4 mm it is petite, made for a short collarbone chain on its own or for everyday office wear, and it feels especially right in winter.
