Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. The seller said "great texture, perfect". The coin is icy and clear, the faintest blue-white, like a disc of polished ice, with crisp clean highlights on the dome. The gold bail is a small flower with a bright-green cabochon at its center and a ring of little white stones, and a gold bar passes through the center hole to hold the coin firmly.
