Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pendant, Pale Blue-Green, 30mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendant in icy-glutinous texture, a pale blue-green (淡晴水). About 30.2 mm across and 5.9 mm thick.

Icy-glutinous jadeite sits between icy and glutinous: fine-grained and semi-translucent, with a soft glow. Moist and fresh, the whole disc is an even, clear pale blue-green with a clean, polished surface.

A safety coin (平安扣, ping an kou) is a round disc with a center hole. Its name means "peace and safety", and it is a traditional design worn by women, men and children alike. It comes on a braided cord.

Like all natural jadeite (also known as Burmese jade), this pendant may show small natural features such as stone lines or fine cotton, and its colors look slightly different in different light. Please judge it from the photos and video, which show the actual pendant.
