Type A Jadeite Safety Coin Pendant, Icy Green, Gold Bail

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin pendant in icy texture, clear white above and bright green below, with a gold bail. About 25.1 mm across and 5.3 mm thick.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Both texture and color are fine: the upper half is clear and nearly white, and the lower half is a broad area of vivid bright green, rich yet translucent, a clean contrast. The gold bail passes through the center hole and is ready to hang on a chain.

Safety coins suit men, women and children alike, and look good on a simple red cord or a fine chain.

Fine stone lines and cotton are hallmarks of natural jadeite; completely clean material is very rare. Phone screens can make the green of this safety coin look brighter or darker than it is; the video in natural light is the best guide.
