Type A Jadeite Safety Coin, Icy with Green Flowers, 33.6mm

A natural Type A jadeite safety coin (平安扣) in icy texture, an icy white body with floating green flowers, about 33.6 mm across and 5.8 mm thick, supplied without a cord.

Icy jadeite is fine-grained and highly translucent, so light passes through it with a clear, watery glow. Clean and flawless: the body is icy and bright with a faint watery green, and several clusters of deep green floating flowers are scattered across the face, some like small twigs, some like water weeds, nicely spaced so each angle shows a different picture.

Floating flowers (飘花) are natural color bands in jadeite, so every piece's pattern is unique, and many people find them more poetic than solid color. A 33.6 mm coin is a comfortable middle size, good on a cord or a gold bail, and easy to wear every day.

Every natural jadeite is one of a kind; any fine cotton specks or stone lines in this 33.6 mm flower coin formed in nature and are part of what shows it has not been treated.

This 33.6 mm flower coin comes with a certificate, and before dispatch we check once more that the piece and the certificate match. It ships free, insured and tracked, and can be returned unworn with its certificate and packaging within 7 days of delivery.
